Internal Medicine Residency Program General Information Curriculum |
About the Internal Medicine Residency Program Mission Statement Illinois Masonic is a busy urban community teaching hospital with a tradition of clinical excellence. Our patients represent a broad spectrum of cultural and socio-economic diversity with a wide range of medical conditions. Resident education incorporates ambulatory experience (with an outstanding comprehensive curriculum, including community preceptors), general medicine floors, subspecialty electives and intensive care training. Superb teaching at the bedside and in clinical conferences is supplemented by state-of-the-art computer information system. Competent, compassionate, board-certified internists are in tremendous demand by patients and by subspecialty training programs. Training at Illinois Masonic, now generally acknowledged to be among the best community hospital based internal medicine residencies in the upper Midwest, prepares residents to enter medical practices of the future. |
