Greetings and welcome to the internal medicine residency program website! As you browse, I think you will see what a wonderful and unique program we are. We are very fortunate to have a diverse, challenging, and educational mix of patients and a dedicated and enthusiastic faculty to help our residents care for and learn from those patients.

Our residents learn through direct inpatient and outpatient care, teaching rounds, journal clubs, lectures and morning reports. The residents also develop and fine-tune their teaching and leadership skills while working closely with medical students (primarily from the University of Illinois and Chicago Medical School) and fellow residents.

Add this to a strong curriculum and faculty that is always finding teaching opportunities at the patients' bedside, and you have something remarkably special. So please, stop by and take a closer look at our program located in the popular Lakeview neighborhood on the north side of Chicago. The other faculty members and I look forward to meeting you.
