TOPIC:   Vendor Interaction Policy
PURPOSE:   To provide guidance to Programs and residents/fellows regarding interactions with vendors.
POLICY:   Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center (AIMMC) and the Department of Medical Education welcome the support and cooperation of a wide variety of health care vendors in Graduate Medical Education. To assure that these interactions and relationships are productive, positive, and ethical, the Education and Research Committee requires that all sponsored and administered Programs adhere to the guidelines and policies as set forth below.

Procedure

AIMMC and the Department of Medical Education endorse the following guidelines and policies as the basic principles underlying both Program and resident/fellow vendor interactions:

These guidelines and policies will be reviewed with the residents/fellows at both Hospital and Program Orientation.
