Organization of Resident Physician Files |
| PURPOSE: |

To ensure the organized and safe keeping of information on Resident Physicians. |
| POLICY: |

Administrative and educational information on each resident will be kept by the Program Director. |
Procedure
- All pertinent administrative and educational information regarding Resident Physicians will be maintained on file at the Departmental/Residency office.
- The Secretary/Coordinator of the Residency Program, under the supervision of the Program Director, is responsible for providing a place for safe keeping of these files, where the files can only be accessed by the Program Director, Secretary/Coordinator, or designee.
- Resident information/files must be maintained indefinitely to allow for verification of training and for credentialing puposes
