To establish guidelines in the event of a residency program closure or reduction |

AIMMC will make every effort to assist residents in the continuation or completion of their education in the event of a residency program closure or reduction |
Procedure
If the decision is made to reduce the size of a residency program or to close a residency program the Institution, through the Residency Program and the Department of Medical Education will:
- Inform the residents affected as soon as possible
- Attempt, if possible, to allow residents already in the program to complete their education
- Assist residents, displaced by the closure of a program or a reduction in the number of residents, in identifying a program in which they can continue their education.
