TOPIC:   Annual Graduate Medical Education Institutional Guidelines Compliance Review
PURPOSE:   To periodically monitor and ensure compliance with the Institutional Requirements
POLICY:   The Director of Medical Education will report annually to the Education and Research Committee, on compliance with the Institutional Requirements.

Procedure

  1. The Director of Medical Education will prepare a written report at the end of each academic year on the compliance with the Institutional Requirements.
  2. The report will include an updated "Summary of Institutional Citations in Accreditation Letters".
  3. The report will be presented to the Education and Research Committee during the first quarter of the following academic year.
  4. The Committee will review the report and, if there are deficiencies, will request that the Director of Medical Education present a follow-up report in three to six months on addressing the deficiencies.
