The Ear, Nose and Throat Center at Advocate Trinity Hospital offers a complete range of otolaryngology services for children and adults. Headed by Wayland Wong, M.D., an otolaryngologist with more than 23 years of experience, the center provides:

• General ear, nose and throat care with specialization in sinus treatment
• Treatment of chronic infections of the tonsils, ears and sinuses
• Hearing evaluation
• Surgery

Dr. Wong performs a full scope of therapeutic and interventional surgery for the ears, nose and throat including:

• Ear tube placement
• Treatment of middle ear disease
• Correction of deviated septums
• Alleviation of sinus conditions
• Tonsillectomy
• Treatment of throat cancer

The Ear, Nose and Throat Center offers endoscopic surgery for patients requiring surgical treatment of a sinus condition. This non-invasive form of surgery is performed through the nostril and does not require an external incision. Endoscopic surgery enables the patient to receive surgery on an outpatient basis and can minimize discomfort and speed recovery.
