Advocate Trinity Hospital is happy to announce the birth of Brooklynn Johnson! Little Brooklynn was born shortly after 8:30 a.m. and was the first baby born at Trinity Hospital on Valentine’s Day!
The baby girl was born at 8:33 a.m. and weighed in at 6 pounds, 4 ounces and was a healthy 19 inches long.
Brooklynn was born to mother, Miah Brown, who lives close to the hospital on the southeast side of Chicago.
“I came into Trinity Hospital the day before. I was due on February 11th and was not expecting to spend Valentine’s Day in the hospital… especially since Brooklynn was due before the 14th,” said Brooklynn’s mother, Miah.
Little Brooklynn was born just three days late via cesarean and while mom admits she wasn’t ready for her little girl, Brooklynn was definitely ready for the world!
“She is a healthy and strong little girl,” said Dr. Mary Kay Palmore. Dr. Palmore is the OB/GYN at Trinity Hospital who delivered the baby girl at 8:33 a.m. on Valentine’s Day. “Brooklynn managed to surprise us all wanting to stay snuggled up in her mother’s womb, but she is healthy and strong and that’s what matters.”
