National Doctors’ Day is Saturday, March 30th, but at Advocate Trinity Hospital, associates celebrated their doctors throughout the entire week leading up to Doctors’ Day.
On Monday, doctors were pampered with chair massages to start out their week. Additionally, 40 physicians were recognized for achieving excellence in patient satisfaction for their performance in 2012. On Tuesday, the nursing staff took time to recognize the doctors with thank you cards and an ice cream social to show their gratitude for the continued support and collaboration. On Wednesday, the physicians were treated to a special omelet station breakfast, along with notes of appreciation from the community. Finally, the doctors finished out the week with a “New Orleans Style” luncheon and a thank you gift from the hospital.
“I am so humbled by the events of this week, and I am especially grateful for the special act of kindness from all of the departments at Advocate Trinity Hospital,” said Donald Amuh, Chairman of Trinity’s Medical Executive Council.
