The Advocate Fellowship Program will recruits highly qualified, motivated healthcare professionals into Advocate and helps to prepare them for success.
Objectives & Structure
The Postgraduate Administrative Fellowship Program is open to recent graduates from programs in Healthcare Administration and Public Health. The program is designed to provide its Fellows with an "educational" working environment that enables them to use their analytical, project management and communication skills in team-based setting. Directed by members of the senior management teams, the fellowship provides broad-based exposure to strategic, operational, and governance issues. Fellows participate as members of the senior management team and attend board, planning, executive, and medical staff meetings. Under the supervision of senior leaders, fellows complete projects in operational and/or strategic areas. Project assignments are adapted to the individual's needs and interests. The postgraduate fellowship is a one-year program designed to enables the graduate to develop leadership skills and management skills.
Fellows are given the opportunity for exposure across Advocate's ten hospitals, three physician practice organizations, home health care agency and corporate offices.
