Advocate Medical Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank Belmonte, DO, MPH as Vice President, Pediatric Population Health and Care Modeling for Advocate’s Children Hospital.

Since 2010, Dr. Belmonte has held the positions of Vice Chair, Department of Pediatrics; Program Director, Pediatric Residency Program;  Medical Director, Maine Township School Based Health Center and Director of General Academic Pediatrics at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.

In his role as Vice President, Pediatric Population Health and Care Modeling, Dr. Belmonte will be responsible for assisting with the new Medicaid ACE program.  He will move Advocate Children’s Hospital forward through programs that improve access and quality for one of the largest Medicaid programs in the country.  Dr. Belmonte will also be tasked with standardizing both the outpatient and inpatient experience for all families who choose an Advocate Children’s Hospital location.

Dr. Belmonte received his medical degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois.  He completed his residency training in pediatrics at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.  Following his residency, Dr. Belmonte completed a General Academic Pediatric fellowship at University of Illinois at Chicago Hospital.  During his fellowship he earned a Masters Degree in Public Health in Health Policy and Administration from University of Illinois School of Public Health in Chicago, Illinois. 

Dr. Belmonte is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and certified in General Pediatrics.
