Downers Grove, IL — Advocate Aurora Health, one of the 10 largest not-for-profit, integrated health care systems in the nation, has been awarded the Top Workplaces 2020 honor by the Chicago Tribune.

This is the fourth Top Workplace recognition for Advocate Aurora Health since Advocate Health Care and Aurora Health Care merged in April 2018. Advocate is a previous six-time winner of the Tribune accolade, and Aurora is an eight-time winner of the Top Workplace recognition by the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

“This honor is a direct reflection of our 75,000 courageous physicians, nurses and team members and their unwavering commitment to carrying out our purpose of helping people live well,” said Advocate Aurora Health President and CEO Jim Skogsbergh. “We are dedicated to creating and maintaining an inclusive and engaged environment where our team members can pursue their passion and feel supported, valued and recognized.”

The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 drivers of engaged cultures that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection.
