Advocate Christ Medical Center Obstetrics/Gynecology program
Welcome to the Advocate Christ Medical Center Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Our program is part of Advocate Health, and Advocate Christ Medical Center is recognized in U.S. News & World Report's "Best Hospitals," with our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology ranked 14th in the nation.
We are committed to training residents for independent career paths as competent and confident physicians with a strong foundation of knowledge and clinical skills that support lifelong learning. We value teamwork and prepare residents to work collaboratively as interprofessional and multidisciplinary team leaders. We are proud to care for patients from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, and we foster a culture of inclusion and respect among our faculty, staff, and trainees. We have been delivering exceptional women's healthcare for generations and are committed to preparing residents to become compassionate, culturally responsive physicians who serve their communities with excellence.
Advocate Christ Medical Center has a long-standing tradition in graduate and undergraduate medical education. Our department has served as a training site for residents for decades, educating physicians across a variety of obstetric and gynecologic subspecialties and clinical settings. The fact that many of our graduates choose to remain within the Advocate Health system reflects the quality of training and mentorship our institution has provided over the years. We are excited to continue this tradition and our commitment to resident education through our own accredited residency program.
