Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program accepts applications through Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS) only.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications to be considered for the program:
- Participate in the ASHP Matching Program
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school or have a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee (FPGEC) certificate from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP)
- United States citizen or permanent resident
- Ability to commit to the residency program for a twelve-month period
Application Process
Submit application through Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS).
Application should include the following:
- Letter of Intent/Personal Statement specifying:
- Reason for pursuing residency training
- Reasons for interest in PGY1 training at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital
- Clinical interests
- Personal career goals
- Experience, qualifications, accomplishments and/or skills
- Curriculum vitae
- Three references (preferably from clinical preceptors) via PhORCAS
- Verified College of Pharmacy transcript
Potential candidates will be considered for an interview once all application materials are received
Candidates will be notified via PhORCAS for interview offers
