General Practice Residency

The nine resident General Practice Residency program is an elective, 12-month intensive hospital-based post graduate program that provides residents with extensive training in general and specialty areas of dentistry. A strength of this 50-year, nationally recognized, highly competitive program is the resident training in the treatment of a diverse group of special needs, medically complex patients who often require sedation or general anesthesia to complete treatment. General practice residents are fully licensed dentists and are supported by an outstanding group of attending general and specialty faculty dentists and clinical staff.
